I am assuming that if you have Inventor, then you also have 3D Max. In my opinion, Keyshot was much easier to use and produced a better user experience, but as I mentioned, I already owned MODO, so I only did the 30 day trial with Keyshot, and I purchased Object 2 VR. The second method was using a software I bought called Object 2VR, this allows me to accomplish the same thing I did with Keyshot, however, since I already use MODO to create the renders, I just needed a way of "creating" the images and bundling them together. (There are plenty of tutorials on how to use Keyshot, I was up and running in just a few hours) (if your company can afford to add "Keyshot", this is an easy and pains free way to go. The first example (with the trailer), this "render" was made using "Keyshot", which basically brings in your exported inventor data, allows you to apply materials, lighting and an environment, but then also allows you to create the interactive rotatable "model". which is not a model at all, it's simply a series of images which it's viewer assemblies, giving the illusion of it being an interactive model. the two examples I have shown you are as follows: Jeff, there are several different ways to handle this.
